Hooks
  • Changeling: She's a few months out of the Hedge and has recently made her way back to Tamarack Falls. She's already in the Spring Court, though hasn't joined the Freehold as yet.
  • Keeper: She was taken by the Floriographer who saw something that he liked about her. She was in favour for fifteen years, until an attack of algae marred her perfection. She got tossed on the compost heap and spent the rest of her durance learning to hide from the horrors there. As a result, she's quite the nervous, broken thing, though resourceful and loyal too.
  • Local: She grew up in Tamarack Falls, though within a series of foster home placements. Whilst she has no family to speak of, she did have a wide circle of friends, and some of those will still be around. Though her Durance was thirty plus years, she's only been gone for two.
  • Affinity for plants: If something has chlorophyll, Mim can usually work with it. She's a way with plants that stems from her time skulking around the compost heap, and they just seem to... you know... listen to her.
  • Healer: She was quite gifted with medicine before her capture, and she's now added fae healing into the mix. Whilst she's not the best in the world, she's definitely not the worst either.
  • Woodblood: Whilst she was meant to be a fairest flowering, in actuality she wound up an elemental woodblood. That's what you get for developing algae on your petals! She should really be thanking her lucky stars that she was tossed on the Heap, despite how tough life was there. She's honed the art of disappearing into the background now, her algae and moss-covered skin almost chameleon-like in how it allows her to blend with her surroundings.
  • Will-o-the-Wisp: Some of that algae on her is bioluminescent. It tends to glow just a tad in the dark when she's not attempting to hide herself, and she's very much the will-o-the-wisp as she darts about her business. And yes... she does bring both good and bad fortunes along with herself.

Mien

There's a quietness about Mimosa, a lacking of confidence that has her hiding much of the time behind a curtain of hair. Standing at five-foot four in her bare feet, she looks both ethereal and fragile in an other-worldly way. The hair which she hides behind is a living entanglement of verdant moss, wildflowers and weeds, and there's a blossoming of green and golden algae which flourishes on her skin. Her build errs on that of being overly-slender, and she dresses herself in shapeless murky greens and browns to enable her to fade from sight at a moment's notice.

Mask

There's a quietness about Mimosa, a lacking of confidence that has her hiding much of the time behind a curtain of dark hair. She holds an air fragility about her; her complexion so clear and so pale that it shows the sweep and flush of every emotion. Her build errs on that of being overly-slender, though the over-sized clothes that she prefers to drown herself with do little to nothing to advertise that fact. Shy and reticent, she's far more apt to blend into the background than to push herself forward in any meaningful way.
