Overview
Haven Observatory was built in the mid-to-late nineteenth century. A small observatory whose equipment is now somewhat out of date, the observatory is little used by the university with which it is associated. The observatory is open to the general public most evenings for stargazing. The rooms and grounds are also available for events. Upon request, a representative from the astronomy department (most likely to be a harried graduate student) can be made available, too.
