...but in the end, language is a powerful thing. Words can have multiple meanings in multiple tongues. My sister and I were talking about one of our extended family, and she started to speak about him in a manner of language that I hadn't heard from her--at least in life. One can learn, even in death. This took me down a rabbit hole in my mind, and later that night, I found myself examining my old anatomy books with things I'd seen in the Hedge. Busily collecting bits of bone and sinew, I tested out a tool that would allow for spoken word of any language to be understood by the listener. This does not help in making sense of the tongues of Hobs or even True Fae (I suspect). Nevertheless, I think the Custodians might appreciate these (Ear Worms) once they get used to the foreign willing sensation in ones ear while using these!
