Gentry/Sky Admiral Santei
Sky Admiral Santei
A global keeper created by player Basil;
Sky Admiral Santei: pirate, pillager, and a cut-throat snappy dresser.
"I'm scurvy, seditious like the powder delicious You know that I'm the pirate who is the most viscious We blacken the sky the Jolly Roger and I, If you don't comply kiss your ass goodbye" |
Description
-
The Sky Admiral is vain, ambitious, and blood hungry for the things others have. Above all the keeper is cunning and will circle like a hyena looking for the weaker prey in the herd of gentry society. He is as dreaded by his peers as he is strangely welcome. Theory has gone that he is endorsed by many of his peers to keep the 'rabble' from springing up, and that keeps new, lesser threats from arising; a wolf to control the deer population...were the deer horrible horrible people.
-
How he treats his own people is another story.
The Admiral makes a habit of collecting titles for the purpose of trade. They are too numerous to list here. Some include:
Realm: Solar Fleet Epsilon
The Sky Admiral holds no fixed territory of his own, instead His domain is a fleet of mobile solar ships and the stars they navigate by. The Fleet is commonly referred to as 'The Admirality' by his crew and Solar Fleet Epsilon by everyone else. Santei's ever-changing number of ships moves across space and time out of one gentry's domain into another. Typically he targets weaker gentry taking what titles they have been able to amass, or even their followers, loyal or kept. Sometimes his domain will press to invade trying to test the defenses of other Gentry and sell his findings to, yet, other Gentry who would profit from this knowledge. Naturally, the Sky Admiral's raiders do frequent trading with The Borrower.

Suggested Themes for Escapees
Strike hard and stay mobile - The Sky Admiral holds no territory. It takes resources to hold land, precious resources that could instead be taking more! Former raiders learn not to put their trust in walls and defenses. They may dislike routine, avoid staying in the same place for multiple nights. Maybe they stay mobile, living out of a vehicle or a backpack. Or perhaps they just prefer an aggressive, stick and move approach to problems instead of building and investing in long term solutions.
Everything has a weakness - Those who spent time in service to the Admiral learned to always be on the lookout for weaknesses, and exploit it wherever possible. They're hard to trust, and find it hard to extend trust to others. But they tend to watch the world with a wary eye, and be skilled at identifying opportunity. They won't waste resources fighting at a disadvantage, and instead will bide their time waiting for the right moment to strike.
