Olivia is taken. Part of Plot:Olivia's Crucible

Location

Fort Brunsett, The Hedge

There's a lot of ruckus from the lodge that is Velvet and Weaver's home. However, Olivia knows enough that it could be something freaky as well as something typically Wyrd. No one's running out and there isn't any screaming. So nothing at all to worry about. While they are away a rather tall, blue fellow moves over to meet Olivia as she gets the permission from the caterer. "Good evening," he says with an accent that sounsd like something Romantic. "I do believe I overheard that you are kin to the groom, yes."

Olivia peers back over towards the house, considering. Weaver -is- late to the party, so it's possible he's getting a stern lecture. No screaming is a good sign, though. "Huh," she mumbles quietly before turning to head back towards the food, eyes rising to look at the tall man. Who is blue. She blinks a couple times before answering, managing not to stare THAT much, and even offering him a polite smile. "Hi. Yes. I'm his cousin, Olivia. I don't believe you and I have met yet."

His eyes look like they came from a goats, and shimmer briefly in the starlight. He then extends a hand big enough to palm a basketball and thensome. "Sergio. Sergio Netto, and the pleasure is mine," he announces as he offers a hand. "Your cousin and I go back for a time, and it is good to see the people he speaks so boldly of."

Olivia looks faintly amused, reaching one hand out to accept the offered one. She has no idea who this is. "Boldly, hm? Well he is that, though I'm a bit surprised I may be a topic of conversation." Her head bows politely towards the large blue man. "Still, thank you for coming. It's nice to have friends at events like this."

"It very much is," he says with a nod. "Your cousin spoke very highly of you. Something of a singer, although I haven't quite heard of you." Despite the man's size and clear musculature his hands are softer than the smoothest pebble. He draws it back, bringing it behind him with the other. "Yes, although he never quite said what you preferred to sing."

"Not everyone has," Olivia says with a calm shrug, unbothered by the fact that this man hasn't heard of her. She smiles a bit more warmly at the news that Weaver apparently speaks well of her. "We grew up together and got into all kinds of shit. That sort of relationship never gets old. The stuff we get into just gets bigger." She laces her fingers together loosely in front of her. "I usually prefer rock, but I enjoy music as a whole; I can croon love songs. Which Velvet likes more than Weaver, but that's half the fun."

Sergio doesn't notice it, but Olivia does. For whatever reason it's as if the few people that are out here are giving the pair a very wide berth of spcae. Even weirder are the shadows coming about from the trees. There's nothing there from the looks of it, but that just seems even more wrong. A shimmer. A flicker. Something there where it shouldn't be. Seemingly cracking in and out of realiy in less than the second and faster than she can fully make out.

Olivia's eyes shift as one thing catches her attention. Then another. And another. The redhead turns slightly to look around at the world as it warps and changes around her, frowning with some concern. Is this related to the noise going on inside the house? "Something's wrong," she says quietly, hands dropping from behind her to rest at her sides before she looks back towards Sergio. He's one of the Lost, right? "What's happening?"

"What do you mean what's happening?" he doesn't know. He doesn't see it coming either. Her voice loses her, vision fading hard. The power of sleep, perhaps. Was she roofied? Anything she'd had was always her own. It does hit her, though, and it hits her hard. As she starts to drift off Sergio starts to reach fo her, but goes stock still as what looks like a large blade goes clean through his chest.

"Something's... wr..." The words don't entirely make it as whatever-it-is takes hold and Olivia stumbles sideways to drop to the ground, one hand reaching for Sergio's as he tries to catch her. There is a vague look of shock and horror as the man ends up impaled, that sight being one of the last things she sees before the sleep claims her.

The source of the blade shoves Sergio down, and the giant falls into a clump on his knees. The sword belongs to a man that almost looks like Weaver's draconic visage. ALmost. His scales are a metallic grey, he's missing his left eye, and his wings are covered in scars. "I've waited a long time for this." He moves over to her as she drifts into lala land, and roufly takes a hold of her shoulder. "Now the pranks on that prick."

When Olivia comes to it's already morning. The sun beats down on her, and that suit may not have been the best option. Drunk? No. Tired? Not really. Even well-rested. There isn't much room to move around, and standing up is impossible. She's in a cage just big enough for her to sit in, but nothing to really move with. The cage is on a cart, attached to what looks to be the rather dead corpse of a horse as it clops along.

The world around her is verdant. Green. Full of trees as high as she can see, and beset by brambles at several points. Mounted on the hours she can get something of a look at the rider. Wings jut out from his back - scarred, grey and massive.

Olivia groans quietly as she wakes, feeling the heat of the sunshine and lifting one hand to rub at her face. She blinks her eyes blearily open, starting to move and get up, only to promptly smack her head with a quiet thunk. "Ow," she half croaks, scowling as she sinks back down and shifts into a sitting position. She looks around, blinking a bit to clear her vision before she focuses on the winged man on the horse. "Hey. What the hell?" She squirms a bit, wriggling out of the coat of her suit. It looked good, but it wasn't the most comfortable thing. "Let me out!"

"No," he states flatly. "I'm not your idiot cousin, girl. I'm not here to have fun, play your little games, or see who you are. That doesn't matter to me." He turns, more to guide the horse than give her any attention. "This is what's going to happen. I'm going to take you to meet some friends of your cousin's. Really good, old friends. Friends I think he forgot, too. They're going to take you. You can scream. You can cry. You can plead and beg. This /is/ what's going to happen. They're going to take you, and your new master is going to do something with that voice of yours and your fire. From what that jackass said you're the best singer he's ever heard." Beat. "Those friends of Weaver's will take you to your new home, and that's where you're going to stay."

"What game?" Olivia asks, looking confused. She rubs her eyes then runs her fingers around the edges of the cage, idly looking for weak spots. Though she's never been locked in a cage before. This is new. She listens while he carries on. It's almost a monologue with the amount of drama he adds to it. "I don't think you have much of an idea of who I am or how I operate if you think that's what's going to happen to me." Her eyes shift around, moving from the cage, to the speaker, and down to the horse. Dead horse. Whatever. That's probably the most likely thing here that CAN get lit on fire. "Besides. What do you think you're going to gain by this?"

"Revenge. It's your cousin's fault." The grey dragon is a man of few words, and even less of a fuck to give of Olivia's threats. "He has been a thorn in my side for some time. So, I aligned myself with the people that took both of us. We needed a new thing of perfection, and I heard Weaver bragging one day. Then I thought to myself, if she's as good a singer as he says she'd be perfect. Then I read his mind and even saw that you have some fire about you." He snorts a laugh. The closest betrayel of emotion he's shown. "Even more perfect."

"You read his MIND? God, how insecure are you. You're kind of a petty, pathetic little creature, aren't you?" Olivia says, laughing a bit incredulously. "You've led a life of trying to get revenge? How sad is that. Do you have any idea what you could've been able to do if you like... didn't waste everyone's time being a dickbag? Just maybe applied yourself to being... not a dickbag?" She watches him while she speaks, fingers shifting a little bit at her sides as she conjures up those flames. He knows anyway, which means he's likely taken SOME measures to keep her contained. The horse is probably her best chance, and the fire is lobbed over in its direction.

<Public> Majestic Little Dorkicorn Kip says, "Randomly, I forgot there was a new episode of Preacher last night."

There isn't a slight bit of containment. The horse freaks the everloving fuck out. It kicks. It brays. It stops immediately when the man grabs it by the neck, and several loud pops echo around them. The horses movements shake and toss Olivia around in the process until it calms down when met with death. The rider stands up, dusting off his bottom and then his wings. He moves over to Olivia as she lies there in the cage, and then squats down to look her in the eye.

"I've tried to lead a life of peace. That fool boy has tortured me at every instance. He's killed my dog. Killed my cat. Destroyed at least four different gardens. Lit a house on fire. Got me fired from seven different jobs. Got me divorced from my husband. I've also seen him jaywalk. Twice."

Olivia yelps a bit as she gets tossed around. Should've expected that the response would be a bit more violent than just falling over. "Ow. Again." She untangles herself from herself and pulls herself back into a sitting position as the rider comes back to look at her, looking back at him drily. "And absolutely none of that has anything to do with me," she points out, eyebrows rising. "I was out of town for YEARS. If you think he hates you now, do you seriously think he's going to be content when he finds out you stole me away? Or any of the other people I know, for that matter. Seriously. You're not going to walk away from this. And I'm not going to go quietly. Your problems are your problems, not mine. Now let me go. Or I'm going to light your horse on fire again. Maybe the bushes. Your pants. I don't really care WHAT is on fire."

"I don't think you understand, it does." He stands up, spitting to the side. He reaches down for the cage, taking it in his hand and lifting her with little difficulty. "I knew you might try a stunt like that, but made the assumption you weren't as sutpid as him. That won't happen again. If you do anything like that again it won't hurt me, but I will cut your tongue." The words stated as if mere fact. "You are both an excellent prize, and way to hurt him. This is a win-win. Your problems will be serving The Borrower, or left to die. May God have mercy on your soul."

Olivia grabs the sides of the cage as it's hoisted off the ground, stabilizing herself some. "I figured it wouldn't hurt you. That's why I didn't target YOU," she points out to him, brows rising. "Not as stupid as you think. Besides. You cut out my tongue, and singing won't be a viable option anymore. Think they'll still be happy with you, or perhaps angry that you damaged the so-called prize?" She leans back a bit then, pulling her legs out from under her in an attempt to kick him in the face.

The kick may as well have been agianst a brick wall. It does strike home, but those metallic scales aren't just for show. "That's strike two, girl." He lowers her and the cage now, and begins walking on the trod once more. "You still have your fire. He will use that too. The Borrower is good like that. He will find a use for you. He will pervert it. Or, you'll be tossed away like garbage and traded away if you're lucky. If you're not, that place will be your grave."

Olivia blinks once as her foot strikes him as though she's simply kicking a wall. That almost hurt. Almost. She slides herself back away from the edge of the cage as she's lowered back down and glowers at him, watching as he heads back to begin pulling her along again. "I could light this entire area on fire and destroy it. You might be immune to fire, but so am I." But he's also much, much bigger than she is. "The... what? Borrower? Like someone who intends to actually give stuff back? Sounds more like a thief to me."

He doesn't answer that question. He just laughs for a few moments, ending it all with a wiping a tear from his eye. They travel, and the sun doesn't help much on deciding the time. IT stays up there for god knows how long, heating up everything around them. Eventually they come across two men: one more akin to a gargantuan elf almost nine meters tall. To his side is a lady, more akin to a fox and very much along the Wyrd. Enough so that she would've dwarfed every other Changeling Olivia has met in power.

Fortunately, the heat doesn't seem to bother her. Olivia releases a heavy, annoyed sigh, dropping herself back down to lay back against the cage. "You are gonna die a very slow and painful death," she says, dropping her elbows on her knees and waiting. She looks around, noting the route they're taking. As though it'll help. Her head tilts back to one side as the others that appear, eyes studying them carefully. "Oh look. More."

The man doesn't respond. Taunting and anger get nothing out of him. He drops down Olivia with just enough force to rattle the cage. He steps forward, and the fox woman hands him a piece of paper. "Nwa Ujo," he says. He starts chuckling, and it builds into greater and greater laughter as he walks away. The fox woman then saunters forward, and lowers herself down to look the pyrokinetic in the eye. "You want to sing for me. Right now."

"Goddammit can you NOT?" Olivia grunts as she hits the ground, once more rattled around inside the cage uncomfortably. She glares at him as he takes the paper and stalks away, just shaking her head and looking back towards the others that are there. Her eyes focus on the fox lady as she crouches down in front of the cage, looking at her without any sense of amusement. Her will is strong, but whatever magic being woven over her is stronger and she straightens up a bit in the cage at the command. And she sings, electing to sing a song she'd been practicing for Weaver and Velvet. It's the forefront one in her mind.

She hops to her feet, applauding frantically. "Most excellent. He will definitely be pleased with this one. Alright, Francis. Grab her and come along, now." The giant elf grumbles, grabs up the cage, tosses both it and Olivia over his shoulder, and moves behind the woman. "You know, he hasn't had a singer in aeons. This will be just wonderful!"

Olivia blinks a few times and gives her head a brisk shake as the song finishes and leans back, looking a bit confused. What just happened? "Um." She looks between the two as the lady hops around, watching them. "I have no idea what's going on, but I don't want anything to do with this. Just send me ho- OW!" Olivia tumbles back in the cage as it's hefted up off the ground and tossed over his shoulder. "Do people seriously have no idea how uncomfortable cages are?! They're not SOFT. Just send me home already. If you wanted a singer, you could just ask, you know."
