Hera Pear Adventure Prep

Hey guys! Please take the time to fill out the info below.

If you are bringing on any Tokens, please include them in miscellany. You will also want to include any equipment in your +Inv that you plan on taking along. Finally, list any Seeming/Kith bonuses that are going to be activated -- we can work out Activated Contracts on the day of the scene.

Additionally, if you all plan on engaging in a Day Pledge (and I suggest you do!), please work out the deets before hand and fill in the form at the very end. I've included a template with a suggestion at the bottom of the page.


Important Note on Combat: I know not all of us are huge fans of combat, but the Hera Pear is always (always) protected by a Big Bad, and we need to act accordingly. If you are unfamiliar or need some brushing up with the mechanics, check out the GMC Combat Mech cheat-sheet on the Wiki. It may be helpful for you to make a personal cheat-sheet for your characters, to reference when we get into the thick of things. So review your Contracts, your weaponry and Fighting Styles, or your duck and cover routine. Let's try and keep everything flowing and smooth, and make the combat process is painless as possible!

I am very pro players using teamwork to help one another out, and will allow for some OOC chatter to coordinate things -- BUT, when +init has been started, I'll expect people to respond and declare their actions OOCly within four minutes of it being their turn, +roll, then pose that sweet action up.

Mien: Light seems to vanish into the blackness of this old flintlock pistol. Any kind of bullet turns black inside of it. When fired, the poison it emits is a black liquid that does not stain -- it vanishes from skin and fabric after the bullet pierces.

Name: The Chrome Plated Megaphone Of Destiny.
Mask: An unremarkable megaphone, looks like it’s been around the block a little.
Mien: A megaphone that looks like it’s made of polished chrome. When spoken into, the insides light up in a color befitting the emotion of the speaker (something along the lines of WoD aura colors).
Action: Instant.
Power: When activated, the token offers the user a supernatural enhancement to their powers of persuasion (+3 on Persuasion-based rolls). It can only be used for one roll, once per scene.
Drawback: Any unsuccessful roll (failure) is turned into a dramatic failure, and the target(s) turns actively hostile to the user of the megaphone.
Catch: For 24 hours, all Persuasion-based rolls take -3.
