Disclaimer: The purpose of this wiki page

So as I sat down to my computer one day, I asked myself "Self--you say that Aaron Fletcher is a horror novelist, a teller of terrifying tales, a dean of scream--but what sort of things has he written? What would PCs know of his work? What might be a fans favorite story?" And I commended my inner voice with some ice-cream. Then I decided to entertain the idea, which is what you see below. I provided a couple of titles that Aaron authored. This also comes with a small synopsis, as well as real-life references or inspirations of IC work based on RL books, novels, stories, and movies I've seen over the years (in case you weren't aware: horror is heroin for me). This list might be short or long depending what comes to mind. But I wanted to flesh out Aaron's writing portfolio more than me just saying "he's a horror writer. Boooooooo." Enjoy!

❖ Legacy of Blood (Novel - Supernatural Horror) - Gabriella Sunderland is awakened from her slumber within her dormitory of Alesewich University. She's asked to identify the body of her great uncle, Matthias--who she's not heard from in years. As the only living member of the Sunderland family, she feels obliged. When she arrives, she sees that her great uncle died horribly. Something inhuman eviscerated the man in his study at the Sunderland Estate. While settling affairs at the family home, she comes across a journal of his. The final pages were written in his own blood and addressed to Gabriella herself. "You must reseal the gates." She then learns of the shadowy history of her family line--of a descendant that wanted power, wealth, and knowledge. It cost him his sanity, but not after sealing the demon behind a series of doors within the in-between realms of the mortal realm and the Shadow. The blood descendant was is used as a key for either opening or closing doors. Gabriella must now fight against an ominous clock that ticks down the hours until the final door opens and Egudak, the Chittering Whisperer of the Forbidden Darkness is freed... Inspiration: Gamecube's Eternal Darkness (2002), Lovecraftian Mythos


❖ Survivor (Flash Fiction on /r/NoSleep) - A hiker is trapped in a freak snowstorm but finds shelter in an old cave. As the weeks pass, he grows hungry. Water is not a problem, but he is still in short supply of protein to keep himself warm at night, waiting for someone to find him. "There's a lot of good muscle on the lower leg," He says in a state of delirium, looking down at his lower left leg. He draws out his knife and prepares to do what's necessary to survive. Inspiration: Tales from the Crypt (TV Series, 1989–1996), 127 Hours (Film, 2010), Alive (Film, 1993)
