The Squires of the Broken BoughA nomadic order that moves soldiers to where they are most needed. They fight off whatever danger a freehold faces before moving on to the next distant threat. All have nearly lost everything to the threat and so this task consumes them.

JoiningThere is an apprenticeship that is a LEAST three months, to ensure that the recruit is right for the Squires. The recruit must come to the Squires, not the other way around. MienThey grow worn-down looking, their clothes showing signs of repair, their skin rough and calloused. Their hands always bear the scars of their initiation. BackgroundAll tend to share certain experiences, namely a terrible tragedy that is laid at the feet of her enemies. Some join to have revenge, while others try to prevent others from going down the same path. OrganizationThey tend to be a tight-knit group and often will form into a motley within a freehold unless there are just too many. PrivilegesThe Broken Blade This weapon, when activated, gives a bonus to attack rolls with it equal to the character's Wyrd for the scene. |
