Its hair is long, and it has only been seen to wear garments when gifted them by those it has targeted with its affections.

None of those who have witnessed its activities (see footnotes 2, 3, 5 and 13 for anecdotal evidence) have ever seen any evidence of violence, or true retribution for slights.  The Fae appears to be incapable of anger in any form, though it often displays confusion or grief.  If confronted or attacked, it will flee, and attempt to reconcile its 'lovers' by bringing them gifts and devoting itself to improving their situation.  If given enough evidence that its target is truly in love with another person, its attentions cease.  It appears to derive sustenance from these encounters.
