Overview

Meh-kho. Mah-kho, Mee-kho, May-kho. Technically, all of 'em work. It's the name this unintentionally enigmatic beast doesn't have much in the way of a past, and when asked can only offer a shrug. The few folks people meet from his history speak of the man's quest for his personal Jacob's ladder, and the answers are never the same. Afraid. Obsessed. Troubled. Insane. Haunted. Whatever it is that drives him leads to near constant sleep deprivation. However, it's what makes the man tick and keep it going 100 all day every day.

RP Hooks

  • Amnesia: Meko's forgotten most of his life prior to being taken save the faces of his family, his original home of New York, and an extreme abhorrence of black licorice. Maybe you're from Manhattan too, and could jog his memory.
  • Hipster: He resents the term, but it fits him to a tee. Old school fashion is better, the mainstream is drab, and the more obscure an artist the better they clearly are in quality. But he's no hipster, right?
  • Renaissance Man: Meko isn't the brightest, the strongest, nor the most socially adept. However, he's gotten by as a jack of many trades, and always uses each and every one of them to get by in the real world.
  • Repurposed Repair: Meko can fix almost everything that comes in front of him, even if it means he has to go hunting down the parts himself to make it whole again.
  • Unsung Bastion of the Community: He's no Darkling nor Drudge, but much of what Meko does in Fort Brunsett goes unnoticed. Whether that's on him or just some dint left by King Nothing is a greater mystery.
  • I Know a Guy: If there's something you really need Meko either has it, or knows who does.
  • Magina's Pawn: He works there alongside Magina, although his hours tend to be a lot more open-ended.
  • The Junkyard: Meko spends much of his time in the mortal world here.
  • King Nothing: Meko lost whoever he was to King Nothing, and has made no attempt to recall much of what he was. There are fragments there, but he'll always have more questions than answers.
  • Changeling: He's one of the fair folk, and falls into the Seelie side of things without as much mischief as there should be.
  • Solstice: The Seasonal Courts were never a good fit, and they wouldn't take Meko short of needing another warm body. He wasn't truly found until he joined the Solstice Court, and found an emotion he truly understands.
  • Marketeer: He sells out of his own stall at the market. More to come here.
  • Custodian: Meko was one of those recruits that joined just to see the library, but he's proved himself to be in for the long haul. Largely, he specializes in trading information and procuring rarer items for the Freehold.
  • The Vault of Whispers: Words
