Alt Limits

Fate's Harvest has a fairly liberal alt policy, with the following limitation:

Players may only have 4 characters above Starting Tier 1. See XP Tiers for details.

This can mean you have alts at Tier 2, 3, 4, & 5.
This can mean you have alts at Tier 2, 2, 2, & 2.

Any higher tier "slot" can be filled with a lower tier character. The reverse, however, is not true.

Players may have as many Tier 1 alts as their hearts desire.

To be exceedingly unambiguous:

  • Tier 5 Slot can be: 5 or 4 or 3 or 2 or 1
  • Tier 4 Slot can be: 4 or 3 or 2 or 1
  • Tier 3 Slot can be: 3 or 2 or 1
  • Tier 2 Slot can be: 2 or 1
  • Tier 1 Slot can be: 1
e.g. If you already have a Tier 5 alt, you may not make another Tier 5 alt.
e.g. If you already have a Tier 4 alt, but do NOT have a Tier 5 alt, you may use up your Tier 5 slot to create a Tier 4.

If you have filled up your four above-1 slots, you will need to freeze (see 'news freezing' in game) one before staff will approve a new character on your +account (see the Master Accounts page or 'news +accounts' in game).

If you intend to play multiple Changelings, bear in mind the following:

  • No more than one Changeling per Court.
  • You may lead only one Court at a time.
  • You can't be Crown two seasons in a row.

If you want more Changeling alts, they must be Courtless.

If staff receives feedback that a player is abusing their alt privileges, the player will be contacted to resolve the issue. Players will be warned, players will be restricted, and if issues continue, players will be banned.

Every player is subject to the same punishment standards.
